Exit from the Kona International Airport and turn right toward Kailua-Kona. Turn right on Palani Road headed into Kailua-Kona. Follow Palani Road right down to the ocean where it turns left on to Alii Drive. After driving through town, you will see open ocean on the right. Pass Huggo's Restaurant on the right, then Royal Kona Resort. Turn right at the next street and left into Kona Reef - look for the blue tile roof. Our street address is 75-5888 Alii Drive.

Bedding selections are provided by request only and we do not guarantee the requested bedding type. We do, however, do the very best we can to accommodate your requests. All 1-Bedroom suites include a sofabed and either 1 King or 1 Queen bed. All 2-Bedroom suites include 1 King, 2 Twins, and 1 Sofabed.
Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms or resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.
We do not have a restaurant on property, however we are just an easy walk from a variety of dining options in Kailua-Kona town.
Public transportations are available from the airport to the property, including car, shuttle, taxi and public transit. Our properties do not offer airport shuttles or transfers.
While we are oceanfront, we do not advise swimming in the beach fronting the resort. The Big Island has fewer swimmable beaches than the other islands. The closest beach is Kahaluu Beach Park, located less than 5 minutes away by car.

All reservations require a deposit of one night plus Hawaii General Excise Tax to be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon check-in.

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking.
